Some of these you can't put your finger on it guys they had some really groundbreaking ideas but the finished product doesn't move anyone. Can't Hardly Wait started out as a Tim demo, yes, but was raised to sublimity by the later re-arrangement w/ the Alex Chilton lead guitar part -- then promptly ruined by the addition of the tasteless horns/strings.
the no-horns version is goat, imo. |
