Bremont as a brand seems terrible but what about Altitude MB Meteor orange barrel (or stealth)? It seems crazy over-engineered for the price, like a Mil gauss on steroids. And has a modicum of heritage and the cockpit ejection certification. |

if you're looking at german watches that aren't crazy expensive, nomos, junghans and for 1-handers meistersinger. |

side note, there is an aliexpress knock off of that watch with better lume and clasp (but ttt movement) for like $250 |

Some of the new Tambours look incredible imo. They don't have Cartier heritage or prestige but they seem to have surpassed Cartier at the ultra high end of horology |
