I’m fine with criticizing Nintendo, their greedy with their pricing, aggressively use the law to protect their IP, and haven’t been that good at online. But there is a difference between hating valid things or making shit up just to hate them.
Like I’ve seen some people on here straight up saying the Switch 1 was failing, got key things wrong about the patent (they weren’t gatekeeping summoning creatures), and now people just don’t know that shipped is how every game company reports console sales so using that metric is still valid for the consoles success. I have a suspicion this sub was brigaded by grifters who are just hating on Nintendo because it’s popular.

Other consoles don’t have any discrepancy between sell-in and sell-through at launch. Switch 2 does. The question is how much. But you can’t even talk about it without triggering these soy retards.
The part about people saying Switch 1 is failing is also completely made-up, and is an idea I’ve Stolen and use it all the time now when Trolling. You can act like you’re Reacting to a thing people are saying that no one ever said and it’s realistic bc people do it all the time bc their brains work like AI hallucinations. |
