But this weekend I tried to find a friend to do-this-thing with - all millennial and X age dudes.
People ghosted, didnt respond, said yes and then backed out. I basically could not pay these people to leave their houses and do an activity.
My own fault, of course, for not laying any groundwork.
I do not think my friend group is particularly autistic or more isolated than genpop. People really and truly despise being in public these days and I guarantee most of the people I know spent large parts of the weekend walled inside. |
