tyft. will watch later. Definitely believe there is a not insignificant amount of real intellectual talent doing shit like speedrunning instead of grinding it out in the fake and gay white collar workforce. Becomes apparent when you see how much goes into the speedrunning records beyond just playing a game a lot.

This one in particular is a pure RNG grind to couple with flawless execution. Absolute insane commitment when you see the RNG odds.

He did the Tyson fight over 75,000 times. This is a level of dedication the world has never seen.

I probably attempted to beat Tyson 50 or so times when I was a kid. ONE TIME I got to within a millimeter of Tyson's health remaining where I would get a TKO. He then one-punched me and TKO'd me. Never got closer than that to beating him. that was the closest I ever got to beating him, and possibly one of the biggest regrets of my youth.

His Tetris vid is better than 99.9% of the "documentaries" on Netflix.

It is very well done. Strong narrative arc and plot twists. It could obviously be tighter, but he's a paying a lot of homage to a lot of names, so it is what it is.

Lol the fucking asian dude who got to level like 150 (I forget exactly) in the tournament match when the previous high for level reached was like 56 was just incredible to behold. As was the "rolling" technique. Just lol holy shit.

Feels a bit like how it must've been when someone first shot a jump shot instead of a set shot in the NBA decades and decades ago.

It's all incredible revelations. The forward pass, no-huddle, and the air raid are the mashing, rolling, colors progression in Tetris.
