I am talking about the liability-only rates, which provides maximum clarity. i.e. the state minimum coverage where you only have coverage for at-fault accidents for damage done to others' property. So it has nothing to do with repair costs of the specific vehicle. literally just the driver profile and whatever safety/driving characteristics endemic to the vehicle, plus how or where it's used.
you can check this yourself online, just Pretend you're getting a quote on some Scummobile and see the rate difference, or if you're lazy and have irl friends just ask a friend who drives something with a V8 or equivalent in power + sporty and they probably pay 2x what you do |
