Manafort met Kilimnik in August of 2016 right before he was fired as campaign chair (but after he knew the story was coming out about his money laundering and bank fraud, the provable substance of which eventually sent him to jail) and gave Kilimnik all of the campaign’s strategy memos and polling data. That was a month after the release of the first traunch of DNC emails. And about two weeks after “Russia, if you’re listening...”. Not sure what your threshold for an intelligence investigation is but I am fine if any politician is ass raped with investigations (including/especially Hillary) if the politician’s campaign manager is doing shady shit like that. Trump should’ve never fired Corey. |
