do posters agree with Nick Fuentes that Iran war would be a disaster?

i'm not even against a pre-1979 style monarchy, i think democracy is overrated, but the morons in the diaspora seem to be willfully pretending not to notice that this random cuck who hasn't visited the country in 46 years and is confirmed to be financially supported by the zionists cannot and does not have any claim to the leadership of a state with like the 5th biggest military in the world and insane culture and traditions that he has only a faint relation to at this point
and the reason they're doing it is because they are corrupt. they know that they and people like them stand to benefit if this puppet is back in charge. they don't give two fucks about the iranian on the street today in 2026, just like they didn't in 1979. majority of them were well-connected intellectuals and top 1% types (+ Jews) who left
it'd be like if all the dr. guptas in the US decided that a random dr. gupta who left india in 1991 knew what was best for some random villager in gujarat today, and that dr. gupta was obviously some pakistani plant

lol no. The secular leaders in Iran are IRGC. I do buy that the Reformists want to use this as their opening to shift back to Obama times when they had more sway and presumably hope that Khamenei dying will empower them further. It’s delusional and disgusting that the major Iranian-American lobbying groups are so devoted to pushing for Reformists ie preserving the Islamic Republic as a starting premise.
All that said you’re obviously correct that skepticism toward Pahlavi being up to the job is entirely logical. It’s hilarious that he’s in some sense been calling for this his whole life and this moment finally comes along when he’s 65 and he’s caught so flatfooted. He did the tweet yesterday reaching out to Shia Muslims and one can’t help but ask why they weren’t ready with those kinds of messages were not coordinated weeks ago as opposed to being used as damage control after his supporters proposed burning a Quran every time the regime executes someone. Also obviously reasonable to think Trump might fuck this up. He clearly has a terrible read of the mullahs and their tactics and incentives and most of what he’s done for the last 6 weeks has been damage control from a couple idiotic tweets that Lindsey Graham seems to have ghostwritten for him.
All that said I’m still hopeful that this ends with a smaller strike, a hilariously weak response from the regime, and then things de-escalating because Trump gets bored. The way regime change will actually happen is if the U.S. and Mossad get serious about arming and training an insurgency and they do effectively the opposite of what Trump is trying to do now ie kill from the outside in. Make 200k illiterate teenaged/20-something Basiji quit after 20k of them die in a daily stream of assassinations and bombings. Kill rank and file IRGC brass one by one, entrap them with drugs and women, infiltrate their domestic and maintenance staffs, and slog through the process of hallowing them out. In the meantime the west should get serious about a full diplomatic freeze out and above all find all the children of the regime living in the west and deport their asses (unless they’re willing to be recruited and betray their families).

There's no possibility of a war with Iran because Iran can fight back.
Bombing campaign would be retarded, though, yes.

boots on the ground would be a disaster, yes
an air campaign that causes a civil war or maybe regime change will be bloody as hell, but I don’t see how that’s worse than what the Iranians have been doing in the Middle East for 40+ years now. they’ve killed hundreds of Americans and tens of thousands of Muslims and Jews with their relentless support of terrorism
