For white males, the rate was 5.7 per 100,000, and for white females, it was significantly lower, though specific figures for females alone are less commonly isolated in the data. Firearms were used in 70.1% of homicides involving white victims, compared to higher rates for other racial groups. These figures reflect a broader trend where homicide rates for white Americans have remained relatively stable over recent years, with a slight decline noted in some studies from 2021 to 2023.
