Anthony Remis You, Anthony, are a shining star. I know how much you suffered by picking up the mantle to support Israel and the Jewish people. I don't have sufficient words to expressed our gratitude for your sacrifice. It came very close to costing you everything that you worked so hard for that was to be your future profession. It broke my heart. And all of what you were doing was standing up for Truth. Something that should have been embraced by all. It should not have been only to include the idealists. All should have been in agreement with your stance on Israel. Sadly, you almost learned the hard way that this is clearly not the case as it should be. In your last year of school, I worried immensely for you. You were so close to the finish line. I breathed a sigh of relief, seriously, that it worked out. It could have ended completely differently. You are truly a man of valor, Anthony. And now that you're about to embark on a rewarding career, I know without a shadow of a doubt, that you will always stick to these ideals and stand on the side of what is right. Know that we Jews appreciate it more than we can express.

You, Anthony Remis are an inspiration, of what it means to stand for what is right, inspite of the prevailing narrative.
I am sorry your life has been turned upside down and inside out for your support of the Jewish people.
Your stalwart presence makes it easier for us to continue in the face of a larger world who beleives the worst of us.
Know that you have our gratitude. (Okay, definitely my gratitude)
And that you will always be welcome in my home, here in Israel.

Anthony, I am sorry for the suffering you have experienced. I am also heartened by your absolute moral clarity and the courage you have in your convictions and principles. You are on the right side of this issue and you will be on the right side of history. Your commitment to the truth, justice, fairness and inclusion is a regular inspiration to me at a time when I need a lot of it. I wish you ease and joy as you face the challenges of your noble path.

I cannot imagine having to stifle one’s authenticity. I applaud you standing against more horrors and walking in shame. Continue to hold on your your values and don’t be minimized. What you’re doing is collosal.

Even the large majority of people who do not promote terrorism, but they simply remain silent, their silence is deafening.
