I was really floored at how bad it was; I just assumed that with the Japs being the craftsmen they are (I really like their whisky) it would be a high-quality product and that any overwroughtness or undue multiplicity of characters would be more of a 'distinguishing features of the genre' thing (and they are that) than 'laughably ruinous defects' rendering the show unwatchable.
Japs also clearly talk differently from us day to day, because some of the dialogue/song lyrics were so weird that it couldn't possibly just be a bad translation. |
