If you want to LOL go read the "science" on long-necked Jurassic sauropods - where in most cases they have never found an intact skull or a large fraction of the body still in one piece, so experts glue together random numbers of fragments, imagine a head, and arrive at a hypothetical creature that would have been unable to walk if it existed IRL. They have done a 360 on whether a brontosaurus is a thing:
1) heavily featured in all our childhood dino books 2) deleted with even more prejudice than Pluto in recent editions 3) but actually maybe it did exist? |
