The retards comprising the metacritic composite rated it as Something More than a FPS because it had backtracking and the view transitioned to third person if you rolled up into a ball. Nintendo fans were like desperate pirates who had completely run out of cannonballs and started loading the cannons with forks and spoons...they had No Ammunition in the console war. I’m wary of FPS that aren’t straightforward corridor shooters though. Backtracking is fun when you zip across the screen in 2D, but hobbling around like Turok might not be quite the thing imo. Like just offer Player Choices or have Keanu reeves and sell 30,000,000k Eastern games can have ingenious gameplay imo but western games can’t. It needs to transcend gameplay. |
