Can he save face and pivot away from Russia/Putin and restore our military and economic alliances with the EU and Canada?

A victory he could claim is getting our NATO partners to wake up, spend more on defense and pull their weight in this partnership ultimately strengthening our influence.

russia was literally our ally out of necessity in ww2, the "greatest war of all time" memorialized in thousands of movies and books during the second half of the 20th century and were *still* supposed to believe putin is a boogyman despite the fact that hes run russia for two decades and never attacked us because of vague economic concerns by various insiders who stand to lose money if american does not fight a geopolitical war or a hot war against them. also the uk/britain/england/whatever you call it: eyyy there mate can ye spunk in me mum?

No because the EU refuses to fund its own defense and expects American to bear the cost even though it regularly acts against our interest in international affairs. Even Obama had the same stance. If Europe won't pay then they don't get our help, simple as that. Alternatively, they can act like true vassals and then relying on us for defense would be less egregious.

They should rearm for their own benefit, I agree, but I can also understand why they don't want to spend 3%+ of their GDP on military. The whole point of a broad military alliance is to get higher security for lower cost, not to get into a spending contest with your allies. The global average spend on military is 2.5% but the US spends like 3.4% of its massive GDP and wants NATO countries to spend the same. Chief rival "China" only spends 1.7%. The US should probably spend less on military and trim down the massive debt.

If we're spending that much, and our NATO allies want us to keep spending that much, then they should do the same, as they benefit from the protection and stability our massive military creates for them.

i'm sure they would jump at the chance to reenter the one way alliances and deals that benefited them at our expense.

Not really but its funny EU/Canada/AUS etc arent just teaming up and openly saying its over. This is because the faggots are on the CIA payroll, have tons of US military equipmenet and own tons of USD and bonds. Its not that easy, they also think they can just wait for Dems to regain power in less than 4 years

If they wanted to truly furk the US they cld have, just sell their bonds and boycott US. But they didnt cause they are beta fags
