Date: June 20th, 2025 9:34 AM Author: fragrant copper ticket booth twinkling uncleanness china supports and has put quite a bit of material towards the IRG cause. chinese trainers work pretty closely with their airforce and iirc they have some fairly comprehensive treaties on the books regarding strategic and economic cooperation signed back during trump 1, '16 or '17. iran is a key part of china's middle east strategy and their economic launchpad for belt and road type initiatives in the region. taking their regime out of the picture and forcing iran into the US sphere of influence basically "locks up" the middle east for american interests for some time. will they manage to swing that? i don't know. it could go either way. but speaking cautiously ousting the regime is probably a good thing for americans' middle eastern strategy, and may have unintended or secondary effects in other theaters that benefit the US' global security posture. |
