Date: November 14th, 2024 9:22 AM Author: jafar I think that I am a complex person with a very difficult road behind and ahead and that my trials or very personal relationship with God, especially when it's only in the realm of extremely context dependent speech, are not really up for judgement beyond what I'd do to others in return. Admonishment, and lo and behold, the issues tend to clear up with some support and kindness ime fwiw people in religious crises that have to do with doctrinal matters or outright blasphemies are usually looking to be reassured by positive expressions of the divine in others. Taking it upon yourself to punish for things that exist solely in the realm of speech, as opposed to identifying the underlying issue, if you can, and working it out with them on a personal level, is about the least Christlike thing someone could do, and will only lead to schism in the community of men as people will simply do what the protestants did and choose flight over debate against a wall. hth |
