electric makes no sense, you have an oven and it works fine
wood is very overrated by guys who want to feel like they did something but not really do much, if you aren't an actual pitmaster your shitty wood smoked brisket isn't any better than a brisket cooked any other way
charcoal is objectively superior to gas, but the convenience of gas makes it worth it if you actually grill often
but at the end of the day, grills are pretty gay and overrated in general
