this sounds like a simplistic "just do trades" argument. do you really think the demand for trades is going to explode and a huge number of men will become well-off electricians or plumbers?
in corporate america, there are plenty of useless paper pushers, both male and female and the most useless will find their jobs going away due to AI |

second, the idea that "hands-on" guys in trades won't be effected is true but not relevant. there's little growth in trades. on the other hand, the hands-on roles women dominate are growing rapidly and growth shows no sign of abating in a rapidly aging world
