the thing with the dems is that they are controlled by a cabal of elites. it doesn't matter who the candidate is so long as that is the status quo. it used to be both parties until trump ushered in the maga realignment.

until the libs have a similar house cleaning i will not consider voting for them in a national election. i will assume any "reasonable" candidate they nominate is a trojan horse. clinton, obama, and biden were all reasonable, likable people when they first campaigned.

there are plenty of "normal white guys" in the dems. many serving governors. all of them are part of the machine and i wouldn't consider voting for any of them just like i would never consider voting for a romney or bush ever again.

if, somehow, maga collapses and the choice is an outsider like bernie versus a romney GOPe type, i would begrudgingly vote dem. but it will almost surely be a vance-type MAGA d00d. i can't imagine voting for even an outsider democrat in that matchup considering the GOP will have been cleaning house for over a decade at that point and the dems will, potentially, just have begun. and there's always a risk that the "dem outsider" will be a trojan horse a la obama.
