Having said that, Zeppelin was roughly 100 thousand times sexier than the Stones ever were. The Stones, when they sang about sex sounded always tongue in cheek. Zeppelin, on the other hand, sounded like someone had plugged testosterone straight into a massive amplifier. if you know anything about music then you know that although there are a ton of possible chord progressions, there are fewer that sound good, and there is also a shitload of songs.

some of these are kind of a stretch, but some are complete undeniable plagiarism, like Zeppelin just straight up stole songs and passed them off as their own. Pay attention to, e.g., @2:40 Dazed and Confused. That is undeniable. There are dozens of examples of this kind of thing, ranging from a stolen riff here or there, to an entire section or lyrical phrase or melody, to stealing entire songs. There is no reasonable explanation for this besides outright plagiarism. BTW Zeppelin agreed with that analysis, as they have settled with a ton of these artists, hth.
