Well even if you don't look back on it all that fondly it's still a flex here on the bort. Yeah it might be gauche to bring up elite schooling IRL. But this isn't IRL.
Also I get that New Haven sucks. But, no grades. Beautiful campus buildings. Lots of really smart peers. NYC not too far.
It can't have been that bad.

I liked it for what it was, but my bro who went to NYU has a career just as good as I do and got to spend those three years actually in NYC. idk brother, Y obvious has great outcomes but the time itself there is a bit of a poison chalice and you have to spend it during what should be peak party years.

there were several. the original phase from '04 to the lawsuit of summer '07 was its own golden epoch. unrefined, but finding its paths. then there was a lull after the suit, but a strong comeback afterwards during ITE. 2008 through obama's re-election seems like its own era. this was brought to a sharp close by the severance of the pre-january 2012 archives.
the rest of 2012 through 2014 was a bit of a rebuilding era. there was a resurgence and bump in interest in 2016 for political reasons. the great moniker randomization was another cyclical close.
