before lolschool i worked retail and black friday was bonkers. but so were the deals. limited doorbusters were loss leaders. i don't think this exists anymore. |

I remember about 6-7 years ago a TV went out so I went to Best Buy on that day and bought a new one thinking it was a good day to do it. There was no crowd. They did have extra inventory out on the floor, and the TV was marked down like 10%, not 50%-75% like in the old days.
