But we seem to pay about as much in taxes in the US as they do in Europe, when you add it all up. We just get way less for it.
And, the taxes only ever go up. With how juiced the economy is and how much inflation there is, the tax rates shouldn't need to go up given that the amounts being taxed are going up so much--for sales taxes and property taxes in particular. |
