Trust me there are moments I lose it and thank my lucky stars I have a SAHW to deal with the nonsense. But today I’m sitting on my basement couch watching them play in the basement that became the toy room and I’m singing songs and changing words as they laugh hysterically.
But the moment I realized XOers are mainly virgins. A lot of times XOers poasted screenshots of chicks they matched with on a dating app and wrote things like “omg this girl is perfect should I swipe on her? She’s perfect.”
As many of you know I was on dating apps for about 5 years during my marriage before I got caught meeting with some 20 year old Latina hanging with her in a one year “sexual friendship.” Almost divorced but I stopped and never met with her or did dating apps again.
The concept of XO saying “should I swipe on her” confused me. She’s usually hot in the photo. 1. She can be a bot. 2. If she’s real (and even #1 honestly) she’s getting 100000s of matches that she probably won’t even see your profile. 3. If she does you’ll be instantly swiped left because you’re an internet virgin. 4. If she meets with you she probably won’t like you.
But the way XOers wrote it thinking if they swipe right on her they’ll immediately be carried off in a horse and carriage shows me they have no idea how modern dating works.
Even if you’re a chad and good enough to “get her” you know deep down it’s an uphill battle. |
