These are the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
To be diagnosed with NPD, an individual must exhibit at least five of the following symptoms, according to the Merck Manuals and Harvard Health:
(1) Grandiose sense of self-importance: Exaggerating achievements and talents, expecting to be recognized as superior without commensurate accomplishments.
(2) Preoccupation with fantasies: Being absorbed with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
(3) Belief in being "special": Believing they are unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people or institutions.
(4) Need for excessive admiration: Requiring constant attention and praise from others.
(5) Sense of entitlement: Having unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with their expectations.
(6) Exploitative behavior: Taking advantage of others to achieve their own ends.
(7) Lack of empathy: An unwillingness or inability to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
(8) Envy: Being envious of others or believing that others are envious of them.
(9) Arrogant behaviors: Exhibiting arrogant, haughty behaviors and attitudes.

when i was pretending to be bp trolling him i was struck but how unconcerned he was about anything other than "gunner's" identity. i was sending all this stuff about how gunner had wronged bp but he didn't inquire or even give perfunctory sympathy. i actually thought it was an indication he was skeptical about getting trolled until he started spamming about "paul" here. it stuck me as very exploitative in a cold, sociopathic way which aligns with npd.
he's currently spamming lynn conway's name to try to punish me. again, no empathy and willing to exploit others. he has done this frequently by attacking people who have nothing to do with a situation because they are associated with someone who is.
a narcissist must always be righteous and correct, and so the ends always justify the means. in fact, they're so righteous that even analyzing their own wrongs is ridiculous to them. in some ways it's worse than being a sociopath, because a sociopath understands that their behavior is wrong, or at least society will view it as wrong. whereas a narcissist justifies their behavior as "not wrong."

He CLEARLY has oppositional defiant disorder 🙄
Diagnostic Criteria for ODD
According to the DSM-5, the following criteria must be met for a diagnosis of ODD:
Angry/Irritable Mood:
Often loses temper.
Is often touchy or easily annoyed.
Is often angry and resentful.
Argumentative/Defiant Behavior:
Often argues with authority figures or, for children and adolescents, with adults.
Often actively defies or refuses to comply with requests from authority figures or with rules.
Often deliberately annoys others.
Often blames others for his or her mistakes or misbehavior.
Vindictiveness:
Has been spiteful or vindictive at least twice within the past 6 months.
Duration and Context
The symptoms must be present for at least 6 months and exhibited during interactions with at least one individual who is not a sibling.
For children younger than 5 years, the behavior should occur on most days for a period of at least 6 months. For individuals 5 years or older, the behavior should occur at least once per week for at least 6 months.
The disturbance in behavior must be associated with distress in the individual or others in their immediate social context, or it must negatively impact social, educational, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.
Exclusions
The behaviors do not occur exclusively during the course of a psychotic, substance use, depressive, or bipolar disorder, and the criteria are not met for disruptive mood dysregulation disorder.
Severity
Mild: Symptoms are confined to only one setting (e.g., at home, at school, at work, with peers).
Moderate: Some symptoms are present in at least two settings.
Severe: Some symptoms are present in three or more settings.
2
These criteria help clinicians differentiate ODD from other behavioral disorders and ensure appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

afiact cslg tried to network with spaceporn since he's another PI guy. the divergence in how their careers have progressed over the past 10 years, with spaceporn having a significant headstart on him, is really triggering spaceporns narcissism.
not gonna wade into another sp thread but ljl at him sperging across multiple threads about this narcissistic delussion.
