It was good if you were a private practice owner, you could hire cheap labor.. but since the market improved I van do just as well working directly for the hospital. Problem is if AI improves efficiency by 50%, job market will crater. It's just the easiest way to gain efficiency nationwide and hence create oversupply for my specialty.
