The common refrain when it's pointed out there isn't evidence in the historical record is that nothing would remain after all these years and coastlines would change. However we do have population estimates based on genetic lines and that doesn't support the notion that there were large enough populations on the planet to support these supposed advanced civilizations. They would have had to totally go extinct. I'd also add they would have to be successful with an undetectable form of energy.
That said I do not buy the Orthodox timeline for the pyramids in particular. |

(the group was actually pretty cool, in an old school academic “clubby” kind of way.) using scanning tunneling spectroscopy techniques, they were able to definitively determine the pyramid itself had been constructed AT LEAST 50,000 years ago. they ran into an unprecedented problem in that there were no usable reference points beyond that timeline that allowed for more precise dating. the egyptian government got involved when they started to release their findings and it was all eventually wiped from the internet.
