You can't root for her (which people will argue is the point), but conversely Damon is also evil but Matt Smith plays it in a way where you can't help but like him. |

There's also no other reason to root for her - which i think is part of the point.
Also, most of the deaths sort of arise from misunderstandings, so you don't really have any villains to hate. |
