There's a development over there that's formally called "Tel-Fair" but everyone calls it "Patel Fair." It's built on the grounds of the old prison plantation where the State of Texas maintained de facto sugar plantation slavery for about 50-60 years following the end of the Civil War. They built an elementary school and uncovered a bunch of unmarked graves. All of the Indians wanted to just cover it up with concrete, but there are weird shitlibs in the area that are funded by Soros or something and they came out of the woodwork and demanded a memorial. I think that's why Sugar Land is in terminal decline. It's just not as sweet as it once was. |
