They just blend into the fabric of a younger persons field of vision like a fire hydrant or tree. If you can remember 20 years ago you didn’t even notice someone who was 41. They don’t look young, they’re not elderly like you’d stop your car at a stop sign and be on the lookout for an old lady who needs to cross. 41 year olds aren’t seen at all. They’re meandering around Home Depot or like attending a parent teacher conference or maybe walking out of sweet greens with a to-go salmon salad back to the office like an extra in Sim City.
