Date: July 3rd, 2026 9:55 AM Author: cowgod I was going to make an epic poast read by like 5 of you about how Prime 4 and Starfield failed because they exposed 2 things:
1. The series they’re a part of are overrated and just sort of went viral bc gamers are fickle and shit is random . Like Morrowind was cool and Nerdy but Skyrim isn’t even the same genre afaict. There was a moment where AAA + FPS + WRPG was an automatic money printer. Like a Scumbag could seamlessly play Oblivion between Halo sessions and both were FPSs so it was kind of The Same. The moment passed. That’s why they’re Afraid to make ES6. They know it. Same moment where every Japanese game got skewered by everyone. Prime 1 arrived at the perfect time, Nintendo fans would’ve KILLED for a T-rated Serious af game.. (Edit: starfield is elder scrolls imho)
2. Sci Fi isn’t interesting to people who aren’t Nerds, preferably Engineers. |
