Steuart Walton is huge into aerobatic flying. He bought out Paul Allen’s collection of vintage jets (like a bunch of P-51s and Warbirds) and runs this new carbon plane company out of Bentonville. It’s super dope to see them flying out there. |

Not that you asked, but I agree with your prioritization of the seaplane rating over this. I’ll bet that flying off to Greenland and Alaska and wherever to do medium-term sightseeing is way more fun, and more enduring fun, than aerobatic flying. Like, if you’re a Walton and you’re spending lots of time hanging around AR, then it’s probably a cool afternoon distraction to have a sports car of a plane sitting in your hanger. But 40 lbs of cargo capacity for a two seater isn’t going to get you very far |
