the strategy for people trying to get into the sport is to start on the cheapest, smallest hills. build some basic skills for a season, then if you want to ski more, buy a season pass and go a lot. you can bring down the cost per day of a lift ticket to a reasonable $40-50. it will never be a cheap sport but doesn't have to be exorbitant. |
