Anyone who disagrees is lying. The party elites have essentially no core values or belief system and are simply griftmaxxing. They want to obtain power just to have it. They also believe Republicans have no legitimacy and are unlawfully usurping their thousand year reich to which they are owed. The only thing that unites Democrats is their hatred of white people who are not self-loathing or embarrassed to be white, flyover states, and uneducated people who work with their hands and have no interest in effete intellectualism. Their only plan to regain power is to say as little as possible and hope a generic candidate can beat a Republican once the country has Trump fatigue. Once in power their only goal will be to turn all the levers of power to increase their likelihood of never losing again. They don't play fair and don't believe in democracy or freedom of opinion at all. Their ultimate goal is to rule indefinitely in a one party state where it's illegal to dissent and party leaders are selected internally. These are the only things they truly stand for. That and NIMBYism to keep poor people out of their nice neighborhoods which they do while paying a massive amount of lip service to caring about the poor which if they weren't mentally retarded they would figure out.
