Plus the fact that the house representatives are voted in by a smaller district than the Senate, smaller districts being more united in general because they are less diverse and more homogeneous. Those two facts right there are probably the central truth of democracy but no one seems to understand them .. if you want to control your politicians make them subject to recall, make their political terms short and make their voting district smaller |

A recess appointment is going to have to work with last year's budget, developed under the Biden administration.
