I suspect it will be a good time for financial markets with little to no change in underlying productivity (maybe slight decline), increases in prices amounting to a regressive tax, and booming deficits to fund this wealth transfer to GC. Elon made an incredible investment. The parallels to late Roman republic era and later princeps’ extreme wealth and blurring of lines of the ultra wealthy with government are too easy to draw.
