just an idea ...
in addition to banning the censorship, could he get through Congress a law requiring all federal employees to fill out an offical form anytime they ask a private company to restrict or censor speech? the form would have the asking person's name, the name of the person or entity they made the request of, and the reason for the request. asking a private company to restrict speech and failing to fill out the form would be a crime.
imagine that in 2028 Dems win the WH. they want Zuckerburg to censor. they will be torn because they know they have to create a federal record of their request. |
