They basically remained that thing for the next 25 years, with one experimental toe-dip with Phil Spector.
But there is no early version of the group looking like hippies or covering Black Sabbath or going by birth names or anything.
They were immediately The Ramones, with 1:20 minute songs, power chords, no solos, lyrics about high school, and black leather jackets |
