Sorry to break your anthropocentric fantasy. But also no way do we have any solid evidence either way. Something sending probes likely cannot completely avoid human detection but they don't need to, they just need to avoid humans reaching consensus about what it is (well don't *need* but its the smart thing to do). And considering they can engineer in regimes we likely barely have concepts for, I doubt they fucked this up.
