Depends on the work.

I use it as a dumb assistant who gets the job done despite not always being perfect.

Research, yes.

Copying and pasting ChatGPT output and trying to pass it off as completed work, no.

It's useful as a starting point that you can then work with and revise. Or to ask questions and have it point you to references.

yeah, i'm a litigator and it's been kind of a godsend just to immediately get an initial draft on paper even though the final product will have almost nothing of what was initially spit out.

also surprisingly useful for boring shit like drafting or responding to discovery requests.

yes its literally printing me money rn not flame and i dont even need pinoy slaves for tasks

its grpahing all live feed data with ocr from xml and pdfs to very spepfic spreqaheets for really tediuos data and then i basically have it facefuck airtable to send to clients facing side for real time view of changes in a grpahical interface

its also learnign the algo for options based on the results and making recommedantions based on new data being fed

it is a 180 intellectual slave plantation and i think the last hope for a high iq mo to have a shot at leaving middle class esp if lazy

ALSO, for advetising it can create some really good split tests based on whats worked before for headlines etc and make it dumb for proles - its hard to make marketing for avg fucktard so i just say do this at 5th grade level etc

I wind up having to summarize data and reports for a board of seven retards. ChatGPT gets mea good first draft at a level they’ll understand. It’s also good for giving me a good first draft for a standard administrative type hearing I preside over where the fact patters are usually similar but the details change a bit. I just fe ed it some precedents and a template and it’s good to go. Saves me like an hour for each decision.

The diction is still quite strange and full of idiosyncrasies that reflect the particular language used by the population base the devs farmed out training it to. At some point there will be ChatGPT-powered regulatory tools that monitor inputs for ChatGPT-powered work submissions and it will be a strange recursive loop of computers monitoring other computers monitoring people using computers to produce facsimiles of organic work

And I am sure it is going to make some asshole a lot of money
