The current second gen ones are a lot cleaner looking than the first gen bluetooth ones I have. It's hard to overstate just how bad they look IRL. That inline volume control bounces and sways as you walk. They essentially manage to look worse than ordinary corded headphones. The current gen ones, they managed to eliminate the cord.
At home I have a pair of low end Grados that I rarely use.
In both cases I use DSP correction which vastly improves the sound quality. I use Poweramp Equalizer on my phone for the Koss headphones. I have a fancy RME DAC that has DSP when I am at home listening to the Grados. |
