That's what's so crazy about all this, not flame.
Like Dave Chappelle's epiphany at the end of Half Baked, regarding the real Mary Jane (read: Lily Collins circa "Tolkien") hiding in plain sight all along, there is no greater high than being offered a glimpse behind dat veil of familiarity:
Seeing the fingerprints of the creator, courtesy of the sub-creators' faithful efforts, for as Tolkien said: we naturally seek out creative expression, because we are created.
Behind every work of art, there is an artistic mind! As Tom Wolfe (gorgeous journalist, two words that don't often go together) joked shortly before his death, did a block of marble randomly evolve into a Michelangelo sculpture?

Very CR, and I've been thinking about that a lot lately: how just as the Saints, like Mary, reflect God's light in a major way, pointing us to Him... there's something to learn about God from every person you encounter.
As Tolkien (of course) says in Lord of the Rings, even most foreign soldiers or, say, liberal virtue signalers are not really bad at heart; they have either been beguiled with tales of luxurious "liberation" - liberation from reality, Archbishop Sheen joked - or forcefully coerced in some way, mentally or physically, brainwashed from birth.
When we find the place we belong, not what role we're playing but *how well* we play it, as Fulton Sheen said, the gorgeous celestial tapestry begins to come into focus, beyond C.S. Lewis's shadowlands, life in technicolor...
