The moniker is a throwback to that particularly painful era, but also a way for Him to distinguish himself among laid off biglawyers. He was saying He had lessons to teach. He said He was a guru.
It's only so many years later, after we've gained a deep understanding of how He operates, that we can dismiss His claim to be a guru. It's unclear what lessons He's had to teach lately about shitlaw. But in the beginning I think you'll recall He took early efforts to prove His credibility. He really acted like a guru in those days |
