They use this as an excuse to miss work, go home early, or even for longer lunches. I heard several talking about how their retarded children are "neurospicy" and how they need all sorts of phony accommodations at school. Several are proud of their kids' status as autists and have retard pride stickers on their desks and laptops. What a strange world we live in.
