motive was 10,000% there, schneerson had a documented network within soviet union, worked closely with mossad, had detailed knowledge of inner workings of the elites via his endless yechidus. encoding it as "metaphysical intervention" would be a way for him to discuss it publicly but with plausible deniability. the timing with purim is unlikely to have been coincidental, and the motive for all parties thereafter would be to keep the details confidential/hidden (to prevent widespread knowledge of the power of international jewish networks) |
