it's not happening, guys. i'm not trying to "blackpill" or be edgy or contrarian. i loved college football so much for so many years. but it's dead. it's over. it's completely skinsuited by jews and boomers and financiers. it's never getting reformed. the destructive changes are never getting rolled back. it's actually only going to get worse from here on out
you need to just Let It Go. quit while you still have all your fond memories of college football. don't stay sucked in until the bitter end, despondently hoping that somehow, things will get better. they won't |

I know this is also contrary to most XOers beliefs but when it comes to “sport” I also had trouble watching anything religiously since like 21. My max was becoming a rinky dink college baseball player due to my (not flame) short height limitations. But fortunately my wife is Tall (5’7) and her father it 6’4 and I’ve always been built and fast but short. So praying my boys are Tall with my build. So instead of watching some 6’4 college kid throwing a ball then fucking Livy Dune types after I’ll go in my backyard and hit, then sure enough I see my kids with their jackets come out with their bats.
Live through your kids but don’t force them. Keep working hard and they will watch you and mimic you. Gathering with your bald friends on a weekend to watch sports isn’t the answer. |

I don't think they realized what a seismic shift they were making.
the real story ofc is that by weakening the NCAA the real effect was to give more power to TV stations. They have been the power behind the throne for a couple decades now but at this point the TV channels just straight up run the sport |

More recently, we went from hyper arbitrary and inconsistent regulation regarding pay and transfers to zero/wild west in about 18 months. Dont see why the transfer rules had to be abolished. That is the real problem.
Kids should br paid but have to play by certain rules. The game would be great if a) they actually had to be students. And b) they had to sit out a year to transfer.
Now its truly mini-shitty-nfl. Might as well watch the real thing at this point. Or swith to d2. |
