Sometime in 1999-2000. Got suckered in giving advice about applying to colleges. Then the law board emerged and I was taking the LSATs and it took off from there.
Some great years. I'd think the 2003-2006 era was peak. A PP commented it's a rare place for unfiltered thoughts. I agree. Which is probably why I still glance at it once a day like a terminal addict who can't ever quite give up cigarettes. Like cigarettes, most of the time it's trash and you know it tastes like shit and does you no good, but once in a moon it really hits the spot. Xoxohth is the online version.
And speaking of terminal addicts, xoxohth has gone from the friendly professional neighborhood bar a la Cheers to an edgy histper dive bar with a hint of irony and grunge to a genuine trailer park trash bar in the hollows of WV. |
