what is this guy 'Charles Johnson's' schtick on twitter/substack exactly?

but what is his deal? he claims to be a CIA agent and he just exposes all of these 'networks' -- some of foreign influence, some of domestic intel/FBI ops -- exposes confidential informants, russian mobsters, etc.
people treat him like he's totally legit, but if he's a fed, how is he allowed to say any of this openly? |

His whole China-Russia-Israel conspiracy schtick is basically what Alt-Right personality Jazzhands used to talk about. Jazzhands was fired by TRS in early 2023 & Johnson basically picked up where he left off as a media personality after Elon unbanned him from twitter. |

but then he'll start talking about really off-the-wall shit and he sounds like a raving schizo in the park. basically, if he is to be believed, literally everyone of even minor prominence is either a 'fed' or a paid agent of foreign gov't. e.g., Tucker is a Russian asset.

Johnson engages in disinfo, but a lot of what he says is effectively correct. Trump's communications have been actively monitored with the various legal investigations going back to 2016, so everything Trump says is leaked to the press. |
