1) Include pics. 2) Make a ridiculous premise but not so ridiculous that it's completely unbelievable, so readers are left thinking, "This is probably flame... But what if it's not?" 3) Include pics. 4) Do a slow burn where you think that the flame has burned out, but then add a new twist later to keep it going (with more pics, of course). 5) Did I mention that a high quality flame should always include pics?
