NFL seems to be the sport with the lowest % of local fans

Date: November 17th, 2024 3:51 PM Author: Peter Brady Like a guy from Long Island who is a Packers or Broncos fan isn’t that uncommon. But if someone told you they’re from Long Island and chose to be a Milwaukee Brewers or Denver Nuggest fan you’d think they were crazy, a massive tool, or both.
Maybe it’s cause the NFL is a TV sport moreso than the others. So you’re just picking a show you like. |

The 2 LA teams also have virtually identical color schemes and mascots and use the exact same stadium and facilities |

I think this is because we are a very mobile society now, and the NFL is the only sport people really care about. |
